THE PROJECT GALGO 2027 CALENDAR PHOTO COMPETITION IS OPEN!
Could your gorgeous hound be one of the stars of our next Project Galgo Calendar?
And you don’t need to have a Project Galgo dog to enter! We welcome photos of all sighthounds — galgos, greyhounds, whippets, lurchers, podencos, salukis and all their wonderful sighthound friends.
We’re looking for your best photos — from beautiful seasonal shots to those wonderfully silly houndy moments — and it’s just £2 per entry, with no limit on how many times you can enter!
Our main categories are:
Spring • Summer • Autumn • Winter
Plus three seasonal specials:
February – Valentines
October – Halloween / Fright Night
December – Christmas Magic
A few tips for your entries: Please send us clear, high-quality photos with uncluttered backgrounds. Landscape photos work best for the calendar layout. And no costumes please — we want those beautiful houndy faces to shine!
How to enter: Purchase as many £2 entries as you like through the Project Galgo online shop, then email your photos following the instructions in the shop listing.

Entries close Sunday 20th September, so get searching through that camera roll — or start planning the perfect photoshoot!
Every entry helps raise vital funds for the dogs in our care, so whether your hound makes the calendar or not, they’re already helping another hound who needs us.
We can’t wait to see your photos!
