Julieta

It is with great pleasure we introduce this incredible Podenca ‘Julieta.’

Julieta was paralysed from the waist down from being in a hit and run. Her life did not end there and that we are so grateful for. Far from the end, Julieta found sanctuary with Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert and a very kind man offered to be a special and crucial part of her life by fostering her and supporting her through rehabilitation. Unfortunately she did not recover from the paralysis, but this does not stop her from enjoying life!

She regularly enjoys trips to the beach where she zips along the sand in her wheelchair. She can feel the sun in her face, the wind in her big beautiful ears. And oh this girl loves with her whole heart.

So why wouldn’t we want to find a forever family for her, in the same way we did for Marilyn, who had suffered a similar fate.

To adopt Julieta, you will need to be ready to fall in love BIG TIME. She has her whole life ahead of her and we want to help make it the best ever!

Due to Julieta’s long term condition, she needs a family who won’t mind changing her nappies, expressing her bladder daily, who have a home set up for her and the use of a wheelchair or who can make necessary adjustments.

We guarantee she will bring such joy and love to a family.

Ideally we would like her to go straight into a forever family, but we can consider a foster family too here. Unfortunately her current foster in Spain have some changes coming up and they will no longer be able to keep her.
