Ben was rescued by our fantastic partners Galgos del Sur after being abandoned by his Galguero.
DOB 01/07/2021
Height 66.5cm, weight 22.5kg
“Ben is a good, calm, loving and very noble Galgo, a little insecure and a follower but not panicked. When he meets a new person, during the first minutes he does not want to interact and appears insecure but if the person remains relaxed without overwhelming him, he will approach and begins to interact on his own, he allows himself to be caressed without running away. With people he already knows he is much more sociable. He is a follower who just needs time to relate and trust fully. With other dogs he is great, very sociable, not dominant and he doesn’t mind being with more nervous or calm dogs. He will be better in a less urban area.”
Ben will certainly need to live with another confident dog.
Ben also passed his cat test so could live with a dog savvy cat with appropriate introductions.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering.
Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering.
Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.
Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
