Biznaga is an adorable Galga thankfully saved by the amazing Galgos en Familia from a life of suffering.
Biznaga is even more beautiful in the flesh and has a real magic about her.
At 9 years old, this girl has suffered greatly for so long but is now safe and surrounded by love and will never again be at the hands of such cruelty.
With other dogs she is calm and sweet. With people, she has the most glorious waggy tail and is very happy to meet you. She loves receiving affection and is very partial to ear rubs.
Biznaga tested positive for Leishmaniasis (low level) and received treatment. She has now tested negative and regained health. She will need to remain on a low dose of Allopurinol and be re-tested in 6 months time, and if still negative, then annually as is the norm for all our Spanish dogs.
Biznaga is now in one of our lovely foster homes in Hertfordshire and is loving every minute of it.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
