We introduce another special soul, Candela or affectionately known as ‘Candy.’
Candy was one of the first Galgas who came over with Project Galgo in conjunction with Lurcher SOS.
Due to location, it became an increasing struggle for the initial foster family to walk Candy as she is lead reactive to other dogs. They discovered she was deaf which was an added challenge for her on walks. After 9 months, Lurcher SOS managed to find her a more rural foster where she didn’t have to face so many triggers on walks.
Candy has been waiting for 3 years to find her own family. We have offered to help Candy by way of promotion.
Candela is 5 and 1/2 years old. She is such a loving and doting girl and makes a wonderful companion. She is very people friendly. She needs a rural home or easy access to rural walks.
Candela is in foster in Cornwall. Please contact Lurcher SOS direct to apply.
Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering.
Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering.
Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.
Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
