We are so happy to be able to introduce you to Galgo ‘Chencho.’

DOB 16/08/2015

Chencho comes from a village in Cordoba, handed over by his “owner” after many years of a miserable life. We are thankful he finally made it to the sanctuary of our great friends at Galgos on Familia.

Chencho arrived with a lot of fear, cowering at the slightest movement, hiding in a corner and trying to become invisible every time someone approached him. The scars of the soul are the hardest to heal but only a matter of weeks in foster here in the UK and Chencho shows just how incredible he is.

Chencho shares his time very well with other dogs but we feel now he could even be an only dog – it would be nice for him to have some doggy friends though.

Chencho now goes up to people very easily – we cannot express how amazing it is to see the change in this boy.

This remarkable boy is in foster in Aylesbury.

Please use the form below to get in touch and ask about this adoption.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
