Breathtaking

Copla is a Galga who arrived from La Guarida in Puente Genil, where she was handed over by her Galguero.

Copla is just one year old, she is very friendly, fearless, affectionate and calm. She loves to be petted and cuddled by the volunteers and gets on wonderfully with the other dogs in the shelter.

Copla arrived with many scars which is so sad for one so young but thanks to finding the sanctuary of Galgos en Familia a whole new life is ahead of her.

Copla is in one of our superb foster homes in Surrey,

She has been cat tested and showed no signs of aggression, in fact she seemed rather scared of the cat. She is not in foster with cats, however, and will be re-tested once in the UK and decompressed.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
