We are very happy to share with you this most beautiful and exquisite Saluki boy Darcy, who was thankfully rescued by our great friend Emtinan at Rays of Hope – For Dogs in Bahrain.

Darcy is absolutely charming – cheerful, sweet, friendly, gentle and amusing. He arrived very shell shocked but with the fantastic support of his foster parents, he is feeling more and more confident as time goes by and making new friends. He prefers smaller dogs as bigger dogs scare him, we think he might have been bullied on the streets before he was rescued.

So he needs a family who will help him to feel safe.

He truly is such a darling boy.

He would like a gentle home who will give him time to adjust. Somewhere not too busy as this would worry him.

Darcy is happy to be an only dog and with time, can be left up to 3 hours.

He is just under 2 years old and ready to steal your hearts by the bucket load!

This splendid boy is now in foster in South Devon.

If you would like to adopt Darcy, please submit an adoption application, or to sponsor him, please get in touch with sponsorship@projectgalgo.com

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
