Dulce is a beautiful galga who came to our shelter with her babies, after being thrown away by her owner. Thankfully her pups all survived and have been adopted. What an amazing mum she was to them.
DOB 05/01/2021
With our great friends at Galgos en Familia Dulce has improved a lot in just a few weeks, she has received the veterinary attention and care she needed and her body is feeling it, unfortunately, the wounds of the soul are more difficult to heal and for now Dulce is still fearful, closed in on herself and trying to avoid contact with people.
But we know that little by little, with patience and a lot of love, we will soon be able to tell you that our girl has improved. She has no problem with other dogs, so she can share her time and space with both males and females.
Dulce is looking for a home with other dogs, quiet and if possible outside the city. She needs someone with experience with fearful dogs, she just needs a chance.
Please use the form below to get in touch and ask about this adoption.
Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering.
Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering.
Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.
Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
