Please welcome this very dear soul, ‘Egeo,’ who has been waiting at Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert for well over a year. Not one person has asked about him.
Our Founder spotted him immediately on her recent visit – there he remained in his basket, trembling. On first meet, he prefers to stay still and not be noticed, he makes himself small. What has he experienced before now?
Once he knows you a bit better, he will come and say hello. His heart wants to trust, but his memories hold him back. What he needs most is a loving home, where those horrible memories that have plagued him for so long begin to dissipate. His life at the moment is on hold.
He is only 6 years old. What we want more than anything is to see him with his very own family who cherish every part of him.
He will need a gentle home, and possibly with another calm and balanced dog.
Egeo is now in one of our lovely foster homes in Gloucestershire.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering.
Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering.
Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.
Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
