Character: Finn is a very loving pod. He is kind and gentle despite having no reason to be so. He arrived with us exceptionally nervous and timid. His desire to be liked and to gain affection from his human pack is helping him to overcome his fears albeit very gradually.  He has progressed to allowing both of us to approach and pet him. Coming to be with everyone in the living room and playing with his packmates. He has a huge desire to please but struggles with new things and strange situations. He is quite restrained in the house and not destructive. He does like to have lots of time to make choices.

Likes: Loves a good run in the dog park and plays sweetly with our 12 week old Basset

Dislikes: Sudden noises and rapid movement both frighten him and he will run upstairs and hide. He has now managed to cope with seeing delivery and work men. But so far has refused close proximity.

Special talents: The most endearing smile!

Specific needs: A patient home with another confident and sociable dog. Access to quiet walks

Cat workable: Not tested

How long they can be left for: Fine for a few hours, with another dog

Dream home: Somewhere calm, with access to quiet walks, with a secure 6 foot fenced garden
