Llama

Llama

Darling

Gorgeous 6 year old Llama was rescued from the Antequera kennel together with her companion Campeón. Galgos en Familia were tipped off about two galgos abandoned by their owner in the kennel.

Llama translates to Flame and it couldn’t be more apt.
This girl is a light in the darkness, she gives a warm glow for all who see her, she is warm, bright and lights up the world.
Llama was a girl who was so fearful for a long time, never wanting to approach humans or be near them – she would stay back, and run off if they went towards her.
Her confidence has grown but with new people she can still shake with fear. Her foster parents are giving her time and taking things slowly. At home, she bonds quickly and loves to be near you.
This dinky little poppet would like a gentle home, with another dog who is confident and calm. Currently she is in foster with a gorgeous male greyhound and they two get on very well. Outside, she needs a bit of help when seeing other dogs as she spins on the lead and worries if they come close.
In foster in Sheffield.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
