Malena

Malena

Fearful

Malena arrived at Galgos en Familia with Zulema and Manolito from Lopera.

When she arrived at the shelter Malena was a very fearful girl towards people. Now, thanks to the love and understanding of the volunteers, who have given her the space and time she needed, she has improved. She is no longer panicky and although she is still fearful and distrustful of people, when she feels comfortable she is approachable and affectionate. We are sure that in a short time she will be a nice girl and will overcome some of her fears.

She goes very well with other dogs and enjoys their company. The ideal family for Malena should have experience with fearful dogs and have other dogs to help her adapt and feel more secure.

We are delighted to tell you Malena is adopted!

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering.

Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering.

Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.

Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
