Merlin

Merlin

Clown
This drop dead gorgeous Galgo was saved by our friends at Galgos Del Sur who say this…
“At first we thought he was a shy greyhound but he adapted very well, and soon was a dog who only needed 1 minute when someone unknown enters its cage, and he immediately got up and wagged his tail asking for caresses. He seems quite noble, good and calm, very sociable and submissive with other dogs, not dominant. He is a follower, if in situations where he believes there is danger he is alone, he tries to go where other dogs are and lets himself be infected by the energy of the other dogs.”
69cm height, 24.3kg.
He is around 3 years old, negative for all disease.
This splendid boy loves his foster brother, another Galgo. He loves the sofa, a human bed and food! He has struck up a very close bond with his foster dad, but he finds men very scary. He needs time to realise they are not going to inflict horror upon him. Visitors he struggles a little with and will want to hide, but given time and very gentle introductions, he will gain confidence.
Merlin is having the time of his life in one of our lovely foster homes in Bristol.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
