History: Milagro arrived at Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert after a hit and run. She was diagnosed with a multiple hip and sacrum fracture, with sacroiliac and tail dislocation. She was named very aptly ‘Milagro,’ which translates to Miracle.

Health condition: Good. She is getting regular exercise now and her fitness and strength are improving after her operation.
Character: Gentle and sweet. Initially timid around humans indoors but affectionate and friendly when she learns to trust you. Inquisitive and intelligent.
Likes: Snuggling up beside you on the sofa and in her fluffy fleece blanket; gentle affection; sniffing around the garden and suburban/woodland walks; dried sausage treats and Marmite on toast.
Dislikes: Other dogs around her bed. Unfamiliar objects – she barks at playground equipment but not much else seems to bother her!
Special talents: Snoozing the day away hidden in her fleecy blanket, then miraculously appearing around food. Wiggling her bum when she walks.
Specific needs: Her own bed away from other dogs; somewhere with access to walks to sniff and explore.
Cat workable: Unknown/untested.
How long they can be left for: Milagro happily snoozes in her bed for a couple of hours without attention. She sleeps through the night downstairs in her donut bed.
