Please all welcome this very special Galguita, Moira otherwise known as Mo.
Mo is 5 years old but sadly has already had three cancerous tumours removed in quick succession.
Seeing her with our great friends Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert, with little to no hope of finding a home because of her diagnosis, broke our hearts.
Mo recovered well from her last surgery in December for the removal of a lump. She regained health and strength and has been the happiest she has ever been in her life. The wound from her last surgery took a long time to heal, with antibiotics and steroids but now her nutrition is better and all round condition, it has finally closed. Her blood work was done recently with absolutely no concerns.
However, the tumour is growing again. It was agreed between associations that due to the aggressive nature of the cancer that Mo will now move onto palliative care.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering.
Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering.
Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.
Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
