Orquidea is a marvellously beautiful Galga, just 3 years old, thankfully saved from hell by the amazing Galgos en Familia.
This girl is mesmerising and has an angelic presence about her.
She is missing part of her ear due to the life she was born into – we are so thankful she was saved and found sanctuary and love.
With other dogs she is calm and sweet. With people, a little shy to begin with, but nothing gentleness and time can overcome.
This graceful Galga is now in one of our wonderful foster homes in Bristol and as her name suggests, perfect for a Spring bloom.
She passed her basic cat test in Spain, but will have further assessment in a cat friendly foster home to give a clearer indication of how she can live with cats.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
