Oris

Oris

Angel

Oris is a beautiful, dainty Galga who has thankfully been in the care of our fantastic partners Galgos del Sur.

Date of Birth 18/04/2018

63cm, 20.6kg

She is a sweetheart, a very very sweet dog, very affectionate and cuddly. She has no fears, without knowing people she already approaches wagging her tail and rubbing her face on your legs to ask for caresses. The girl who rescued her told us that every 3 or 4 months she usually has an epileptic attack and that when this happens she behaves much more timid in the following days, but so far she has not had any attacks in the shelter and we see a very very sociable and balanced character.

In the park she is a little more playful but inside her kennel she is very calm, she spends hours sleeping alone without making a sound. The woman who rescued her and kept her in a foster home for a long time also tells us that she really likes being on the couch at home.

She is also great with cats!

Oris is now in one of our super foster homes in Sheffield.

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
