Pirata was found abandoned in the streets with a serious wound on his leg. The same people who found him wanted to help him heal his wound and had kept him at home until they finally got help for him, however, the leg was far from improving and had deteriorated considerably to the point that it was now completely necrosized…
He was in excrutiating pain and seeing him in such a way, crying so hard, was extremely harrowing.
In that state, there is no possibility of recovering it, but it was possible they could amputate the affected part and place a possible prosthetic so that his leg was still functional.
The amputation went ahead, but unfortunately there were complications on recovery and he needed the whole leg amputated.
He has healed incredibly well.
He is one of the most amazing souls you could ever dream of and now in one of our super foster homes in Nottinghamshire.

Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you.
Step 3 (the final step) is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
