Here is Galgo Tiberio who was thankfully saved by our great partners at Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert.

Tiberio is a 6.5 year old Galgo with an amazing character who is also very cat friendly.

“Tiberio (now known as Rio) is a dainty galgo with a very sweet nature. He is a quiet boy (unless he sees a squirrel, then he sings) and likes to spend time in a comfortable dog bed.
He does have a tendency to collect items in his bed and sometimes shreds things so is still anxious at times.
On the whole he has settled really well into life in a home and is pretty much house trained now with no accidents for a while, even on visits to other houses. He is well behaved on the lead (unless there’s squirrels, in which case he does pull) and he is sociable in a good way with dogs and cats he meets.
He loves food and becomes very animated at the sight of his bowl. He will counter surf given the opportunity.
He likes to be fussed, is inquisitive and will play a bit with squeaky toys but is generally a very quiet lad who would do well in a calm home with a clear routine in place.”

The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
