William

Big Friendly Giant
We are looking for a foster family for this exceptional boy ‘William.’
Why oh why is such a dream boy waiting for almost 1.5 years? Some of you know Roald Dahl’s children’s book “The BFG – the Big Friendly Giant.” That’s exactly the case with William – a tall and handsome boy who immediately catches your eye with his appearance. He is calm and friendly and very happy to be petted. With his deep, penetrating look he captivates and enchants.
He is not pushy at all, always in the background, you are only gently nudged and then he really absorbs all the attention. He wants to please and does not leave his side. William has no fear of men. To his dog buddies he is polite and respectful, the cat test can be done on request. When he came to FBM, he had an infection on his tail and it had to be amputated a bit – doesn’t stop the dear boy from wagging around joyfully. This wonderful boy is truly an enrichment – a big friendly Giant!
At FBM since: 08.02.2022
Born: approx. 06/2018
Height: 68 cm
Weight: 29 kilo
Other dogs: Social
Cats: Test can be done on request
Diseases: None
William is now in one of our super foster homes in Sheffield!

Adopting or fostering a dog is hugely enjoyable and rewarding, but it’s also a lot of work, and it’s a big decision. Below are the 3 steps involved in the process of either adoption or fostering. Step 1 is to learn what’s involved; about Project Galgo, about adoption and about fostering. Step 2 is to contact us for more information and we’ll discuss everything with you. The final step is to fill out either the adoption or fostering forms and officially start the process. These forms are in depth, and may take you some time to fill out. It is recommended you do this on a laptop or desktop computer. It is required that you fill out every field, the forms will not submit if questions are skipped.
