Breaking Point

THIS IS OUR BREAKING POINT

This is the post we have tried to avoid.

We have reached a point where the need is greater than what we can sustain.

Mounting veterinary bills. Escalating transport costs. Dogs already in our care needing urgent, sometimes life-saving treatment. We have stretched every resource, every option, every ounce of strength we have… and it is no longer enough.

We have been forced to do the unthinkable:

Project Galgo must close its doors until we are through this critical point.

While they are still out there.

Injured. Abandoned. Suffering. Waiting.

We are not even a month past the end of hunting season—the darkest, cruelest time for Galgos and Podencos. This is when the calls for help are relentless. This is when they need us the most.

And now… we cannot say yes.

We are devastated.

To every single person who has supported us so far—please know this: your kindness has meant everything. Nothing you have given has ever been in vain.

We hate having to ask for more but without immediate and significant support, we just cannot go on.

If all our followers gave even a pound, think of what we could achieve.
