Whyn Lewis is Back!

A rare moment to collect something truly special…
We are auctioning the first of three original works by Whyn Lewis @whynlewispaintings — an artist whose pieces don’t just depict connection, but feel it. For those who know her, you’ll recognise the quiet intensity, emotional precision, and unmistakable tenderness that runs through everything she creates. And for those discovering her now, this is a powerful place to begin.
Alongside this release, we’re revisiting some of Whyn’s previous masterpieces — works that have come to define her voice. Each one reflects her ability to hold tension and softness at once, exploring closeness, distance, and the fragile space in between. Her paintings linger. They stay with you.
Drawing for Borrowed, 2026
Graphite on white paper
8 cm diameter
This intimate piece captures a moment within her process — a study created while developing her painting ‘Borrowed.’ It holds something the final work lets go of: connection without separation.
“I was thinking about relationships, and how we affect one another… in the final painting I chose not to let the dogs touch… but in this drawing they are still very much held.”
There’s something quietly profound here — a suspended moment where closeness exists without question. A reflection on what it means to hold, and to release.
Auction closes Sunday 26 April at 7pm.
The first of three.
Rare. Intimate. Unmissable.
