Anood

Anood

Dog name: Anood      Nicknames:

History: Anood was rescued seven years ago after being found abandoned in the scorching desert without food or water. At the time of her rescue, nobody realised that she was pregnant with two puppies. Her rescuer believed the safest option was to surrender Anood to a small, very humble shelter that was already struggling financially. Anood later gave birth there to two male puppies. Sadly, despite the passing years, neither Anood nor her two sons were rehomed, and all three remained at the shelter.

With extremely limited resources, the shelter struggled to provide adequate food and veterinary care. The donated food available was poor quality and barely enough to feed all the dogs in their care.

Seven years after arriving at the shelter, Anood became unwell and stopped eating. The shelter could not afford the veterinary treatment she needed, so one of its volunteers reached out to Emtinan of Rays of Hope – For Dogs in Bahrain and pleaded for help.
