BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS
There are so many ways you can help us and the dogs we care so deeply for:
Fundraising – To help us continue our mission, we need continual funds. We are a not-for-profit organisation, consisting of volunteers – we do this out of pure love.
We are so grateful for all the help we receive and are very happy to announce our new Head of Fundraising, Becky Burton, who joined with us this year, 2022 to assist in this crucial role. If you would like to help us, then do get in touch with Becky at info@projectgalgo.com
There are so many ways you can help to fundraise – Pub Quizzes, Group Greyhound Walks, Sponsored sports/events, donating for flash auctions/raffles, birthday fundraisers on Social media platforms, etc!
Sponsoring – Sponsoring a dog means you can help us cover the ongoing costs of our dogs in foster – food, vet bills, medication, supplements. We have several levels of sponsorship, including one for children, which is really lovely and helps get the younger generation involved. Sponsorship packs are quality and make lovely birthday and Christmas gifts too.
Please visit our Sponsorship page for more information
Fostering – One of the most rewarding experiences for dog and human is to be the bridge between shelter life and their furever home. You have our full support and back up – we provide food and pay any vet bills/treatment required. Ask any of our foster homes and they will tell you, there is nothing like giving your heart to one of these dogs. You are literally saving a life.
Please visit our Fostering Page for more information
Home-checking – We re-home all over the UK and generally use the Animal Team Network, but if you would like to help us, then do get in touch via email – info@projectgalgo.com
Transport – Sometimes we need help transporting dogs to foster homes. Safety procedures must me met, but full training will be given and equipment provided if needed. We can pay petrol. If you want to help us with this, just email info@projectgalgo.com
Spreading Awareness – Be a Voice for the Voiceless, spread the word. Be it in person or via your social media channels, this is a huge help for the dogs. Join our Social Media pages – Facebook, Instagram, share our posts, invite your friends and family
Donating – We hold Bi-Annual Auctions, Raffles, and Flash Auctions which are an immense help to us. In our past auctions, we have had donations from so many incredibly talented and generous people – famous artists and sculptors, designers, knitters, holiday cottage owners, even outdoor pursuit companies, including surfing.
