Character: Moon is a calm, loving, and beautifully balanced Galga who has settled into home life almost immediately. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and enjoys being around people without being demanding. She will happily follow you around the house, then settle quietly in her bed nearby. She is confident in everyday situations and has integrated seamlessly into a busy household with multiple dogs and children. While she showed slight initial nervousness, particularly around men this has already improved quickly, and she is now very comfortable when allowed to approach people on her own terms. She is playful when appropriate, socially aware, and reads other dogs extremely well. A genuinely easy dog to live with.
Likes: Affection and being close to people. Food and treats (very food motivated) Walks, including off-lead in secure areas Gentle play with other dogs Comfortable beds and relaxing near the family
Dislikes: Being approached too quickly initially. Being approached while holding a food bowl (Both are improving quickly with routine and familiarity)
Special talents:Expert at spotting unattended snacks and helping herself if given the chance, paired with a very convincing “who, me?” expression. Equally talented in the affection department, she loves being close to her people and will happily provide a steady supply of cuddles and companionship.
Specific needs: Moon is an easy, adaptable dog who will slot into most homes with very little adjustment. She would benefit from: ● Being allowed to approach new people in her own time initially ● Continued gentle confidence-building ● Basic food awareness in the home, as she will help herself if given the opportunity ● Overall, her needs are minimal she is a straightforward, affectionate companion who settles quickly. Loves other dogs and people alike
